Come Fly WIth Me...

Well you could fly with me but I think the flight is booked out - I overheard that today is one of the busiest days to fly. I think it is because tomorrow all the air fares double!

Waiting in line to go through customs I had the pleasure (?) of standing in front of a newly married couple. I think they were only about 16.... well they were older, but not much... I knew they were newly married because every second sentence from her was "OMG, I can't believe that we are actually married"... However, my favorite comment was "Mum has had so many people tell her how amazing we look together and we are so, like, the perfect couple"... Well, that was my favorite until this classic one came "I think we should start adopting kids straight away, the first one should be about 3 so we can get use to a kid and then we can get younger ones once we know how to deal with them, because we may not even like kids".... Why am I sharing this with you? Because universe, I DO NOT WANT TO SIT NEXT TO THEM ON MY 14 HOUR FLIGHT......

Anyway, second time round this flying overseas thing is so much easier, I packed in record time, breezed through check in, found the coffee club and am stealing the free QANTAS Wi-Fi... If i have forgotten anything I am going to be blaming Kaitlin Bell - she was meant to call out all sorts of things I should have packed while i packed yesterday....

Was trying to make some witty comment about the size of the QANTAS check in compared to the Virgin one - something along the lines of not getting the memo, but am slightly suffering from a work function last night

Short but sweet this time, I am sure I will have some stories to share after the flight.
